SchoolForce funds staff at each of the schools in Belmont-Redwood Shores, 36 staff positions to be exact. Due to inflation and rising salaries and benefits, we need to increase the suggested donation amount per student from $1,550 to $1,750.  We last increased the SchoolForce suggested donation amount 10 years ago in 2012. Since then, salaries and benefits have gone up by 33%; additionally, the need to provide monetary support for staff development, technology, and field trip transportation has been moved from the PTA level to SchoolForce. These cost shifts affect how far our donation dollars can go, impacting the number of essential staff SchoolForce can fund, how robust the programs we fund can be, and the range of electives that can be offered in our middle schools.  We appreciate your continued support.  Your donation makes an impact on each child’s school day!
