Mission

We raise money for teachers and programs to ensure an exceptional education for the children of the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District. In addition, we are dedicated to raising community awareness of key issues faced by our district, and what we can do as a community to ensure that all of our children receive a quality public education.

History

In 2001, in the face of serious budget shortfalls, the Belmont-Redwood Shores school district put a parcel tax measure on the ballot. When that parcel tax failed, the district announced that it would end instrumental music. Read more…

Yearly Events

We hold three major fundraising events a year: an auction/casino gala called Casino Royale, an outdoor music festival called Save The Music, plus our Reading Power Read-a-thon. Click on each event for more details.

Join Us!

School-Force is an all-volunteer organization and we can use your help. We particularly need volunteers with experience or interest in fundraising to help us increase our donor base (parents, community members, realtors). Our Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 7:00-9:00 pm, in the District office (2960 Hallmark Dr, Belmont). Additional volunteers are always needed too, especially at the individual school level. Contact us…
