We ask all parents to become supporting members of both School-Force and their school’s PTA. Both organizations work hard to provide a quality educational experience for our children, but they differ in crucial ways.
School-Force funds teaching personnel and district-wide educational programs. PTA funds class materials, equipment and school-specific programs — but cannot fund salaries. School-Force complements the efforts of your school’s PTA to ensure that your child receives an excellent education in the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District. See the table below which illustrates the relationship between School-Force and the PTA:
School-ForceA non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to enhancing and funding district-wide educational resources, teaching personnel and enrichment programs. |
